Land Trust

Help establish a regenerative land trust for education, ecology, and future generations.

Protecting land beyond speculation. Restoring ecosystems beyond our lifetime.

The Alentejo valley, cork oaks, scrubland and hills where the land trust will take root.
“We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children.”

Our Vision

Mosaic is developing a 20-hectare regenerative land trust in Southern Portugal.

Our vision is simple: to place land into long-term stewardship so it can support ecological restoration, education, community, and regenerative culture for generations to come.

Rather than extracting value from land, we seek to increase its ecological, social, and educational value over time.

Your contribution helps restore ecosystems, improve water retention, develop educational infrastructure, and establish legal structures that protect the land from future speculation.

How we like to bring paradise back to earth.

Water held in the landscape. Forests regenerated through syntropic succession. Animals returned as partners of the soil. These are glimpses of the living systems we cultivate.

Horses drinking at a restored pond, water held in the landscape.
Water & animals. Ponds and swales rehydrate the land; grazing animals close the nutrient loop.
Young syntropic plantings rising in front of a regenerated forest edge under open sky.
Syntropic forests. Multi-strata plantings restore canopy, fertility and biodiversity in a single gesture.

Water returned to the land.

From dust to reflection, a sequence of earthworks that brought water back into the valley.

The restored lake, clear water held in the valley, surrounded by regenerating forest.
The result. What was dust is now a living lake, swimmable, mirrored by sky, held by the land.

Four ways to stand with the land.

Every contribution becomes a living part of a 20-hectare (200,000 m²) regenerative trust. Select a tier to explore what it supports.

Transparency & Accountability

We believe trust grows through transparency.

Contributors receive:

  • Annual impact reports
  • Land regeneration updates
  • Access to project developments
  • Invitations to community events and open days
  • Visibility into how contributions are allocated

Our intention is to create a land trust that is accountable not only to current participants but also to future generations.

Beyond Donation

This is not simply a fundraising campaign.

It is an invitation to participate in the creation of a protected regenerative commons.

A place where ecology, education, governance, and culture can continue evolving long after any individual has left.

Together, we are not merely supporting land.

We are helping establish the conditions for future generations to learn, belong, regenerate, and thrive.

In good company
